Why don’t you come back to the office?

Many companies would like to see their employees back in the office on a regular basis. Pressure and coercion are likely to meet with resistance. How can managers motivate their teams to return and create incentives?

“Write again!” That was a postal advertising slogan in the 1990s. Did it lead to more postcards and letters? We don’t know. Would a campaign proclaiming “Come back to the office!” work? Certainly not. Throughout Germany, managers are struggling with their teams who no longer want to voluntarily give up their beloved home office and mobile working. How can managers motivate their employees to return?
