The challenge
A company from the energy industry was faced with a communication chaos: many strategic initiatives were running in parallel, but without any connection to each other. Employees were confused, didn’t know what the priorities were and there was no real new form of collaboration.
Our task
Design strategy communication in such a way that it creates clarity, is emotionally engaging and makes synergies between the initiatives visible.
Our solution
Bringing strategy to life. Not just with words, but with formats that are understood and felt:
✅ Creating a common basis: We started by bringing all initiatives together – a crucial step in laying the foundations for clarity and orientation. These initiatives had previously operated in isolation and had no connection to each other. Our task was to bring the topics into an overall context.
✅ Experience community: A big summer party served as an emotional kick-start. Instead of a dry strategy event, we made strategy accessible with experience stations, interactive formats and relaxed discussions. The message: “We discover strategy together.”
✅ Complex things in a nutshell: With “In 100 seconds” – a new format for quick, understandable updates – we have made strategy communication tangible and “snackable”. Short videos and concise graphics ensured that all employees understood what it was all about.
✅ Making connections visible: We used visual aids such as a clear infographic to link the individual initiatives and highlight synergies. This made it clear how everything works together.
✅ Emotionality instead of a flood of facts: real voices from the company, personal stories and practical examples replace bullet points. This brought the strategy to life and made it emotionally tangible, which significantly increased identification and commitment.
The conclusion:
Strategy communication is effective when it is tangible. With the mix of emotionality, new formats and clear visualization, we not only informed XYZ, we motivated them. Strategy was not perceived as something abstract, but as a joint project that everyone can help shape.
