Hamburg, 1.12.22 – Perfect move: MontuaPartner Communications officially opens its new office today, the MPC Townhouse, a recently privately occupied city villa near the Alster.

The consulting agency, which specializes in internal communication and change, has implemented what is currently being discussed in many companies: Away from the traditional office workplace, towards a flexible location that takes into account the wishes and circumstances of employees. The relocation was preceded by an intensive planning phase in which the employees themselves were able to determine how future collaboration should be organized.

Work-life – in the “green zone”

Many MontuaPartner employees have been working from home or in other cities, and not just since coronavirus. It was therefore particularly important to ensure team cohesion despite the physical distance. This is where the MPC Townhouse is in its element. The different areas offer space for teamwork and concentration. A large terrace with a garden helps to clear the mind between project work and team calls.

Working and living together made easy

The “Homebase”, an open-plan area with a dining table and seating areas, provides the perfect space for regular team days and workshops. Two of the rooms, the “hygge room” and the “quiet oasis”, are designed for a yoga session in between, for quiet work or as guest rooms. This means that colleagues from other locations can stay overnight in a private atmosphere at any time without having to worry about hotel bookings. Private use, cooking together in the “creative kitchen” or other activities are also welcome.

“We bring companies into their human power. What applies to our customers also applies to us,” explains Managing Director Andrea Montua. “We too need to look at where our human strength lies, how we can leverage our potential and what enables or hinders our teams to do a great job with passion. A workplace serves the people who use it – not the other way around. This is especially true in the context of New Work.”
